Evicide® magnolia 85 contains highly active Magnolia Bark Extract, used in traditional Chinese medicine for centuries. Combined with plant-derived Glyceryl Caprate and Pentylene Glycol, it forms a 100% natural preservative blend with broad-spectrum antimicrobial activity, suitable for COSMOS and Natrue certified products.
Evicide® magnolia 85 also acts as a solvent for lipophilic actives. Glyceryl Caprylate functions as a skin moisturiser, conditioning agent, and antimicrobial, while Pentylene Glycol is valued for its antimicrobial and humectant properties. Both also help stabilise emulsions. Together, these three ingredients create a powerful multifunctional product, Evicide® Magnolia 85.
Its activity against specific microorganisms is highly observed where the blend is considered for use against acne-causing bacteria. Evicide® magnolia 85 is pH-independent.
