Pyrrolidinyl Diaminopyrimidine Oxide Oxothiazolidinecarboxylate encapsulated within the Follicular Delivery System (FDS) is specifically delivered to the hair follicle for a more intense and precise effect on the hair bulb, dermal papilla and sebaceous gland.
The FDS nanovesicles transport the active ingredients towards the deepest areas of the hair follicle whilst protecting the 5-α reductase inhibitors. Furthermore, the hydro dispersible nature of the encapsulated product makes it the perfect option for the formulation of water-based formulations which are the preferred choice of cosmetics for users with greasy hair or skin.
Pyrrolidinyl Diaminopyrimidine Oxide Oxothiazolidinecarboxylate, is a molecule that acts at the dermal papilla level of the hair follicle dilating the capillaries and, consequently, increasing the supply of nutrients and oxygen to the hair root. Through this mechanism, the weak cells of the follicle recover and the anagen phase is extended for a longer period of time, reducing hair loss and even promoting hair growth.
It is also capable of increasing the proliferation of hair matrix cells, strengthening the hair, increasing volume and improving the anchorage of the hair root to the hair follicle. A study carried out on 60 men showed by using RT-PCR test that this molecule increases the expression of mRNA (related to hair growth) up to 13.5%, twice as much as Minoxidil.
