Piroctone controls excess skin desquamation, normalises the skin renewal cycle, provides an antibacterial and antifungal action, reduces body odour and excess oil on the skin, whilst increasing the average thickness of the hair shaft. INdermal's Corneum Delivery System (CDS) encapsulates the Pyroctone Olamine protecting it against degradation. CDS selectively releases the active ingredient in the stratum corneum for higher concentrations and a progressive release for a long-lasting effect. The encapsulated technology also increases the bioavailability of the active ingredient providing up to 15 times greater concentration than other standard liposome products.
