JADE ALGA™ is a patented active ingredient composed of native ulvans coming from the green seaweed Ulva Armoricana. It is the only alga with “Shape Memory Technology”, allowing it to challenge the repeat cell deformations (contraction/expansion) induced by the tides. Jade Alga restores an optimal skin shape memory through the stimulation of Involucrin and Cornifin as well as its protective effect against the over production of Heme Oxygenase induced by pollutants. It also provides a soft enzymatic and chemical peeling (BHA) for skin radiance. A clinical study showed the reduction of intercellular spaces and the improvement of cellular cohesion, skin softness and satin effect.
