Hydrogenated polyisobutene is a multifunctional oily base for cosmetic formulations that acts as a substitute for mineral oils.
MC300 is a high molecular weight (1300), viscous emollient offering moisturising by fortifying skin’s natural barrier to reduce moisture loss.
Supports water resistance of sun care formulations and remains effective even after coming into contact with water. Prevents the clumping of pigments in makeup and makes their dispersion easier.
Brings thickness in skin products to create a luxurious feel, and to help formulation stay thoroughly homogeneous.
