Evicare® heat eco is able to interact with the TRPV1 receptors on human skin to induce a gentle but long-lasting warming sensation. The onset is typically within 5-10 minutes, while the warming effect can last for several hours.
It is often used in warming O/W creams designed for treatment of the back or the feet as well as gels and creams to warm muscles before or after sports. However, other areas of application have been explored as well, such as lip products with plumping effect, personal lubricants, scalp treatments and pain relief products such as patches.
In all cases the mode of action is based on the increase of microcirculation, meaning that blood flow is increased in the treated area.
